Meowchemy - Foliage

A closer look at the trees and bush assets from the forest environment in my game. I used Substance Painter to texture the trunks and leaf bases, and Krita for the extra leaves around them- these are modelled as planes and use opacity masks to define their shape. A large inspiration for this method was Painterly Cottage by Glen Fox (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/zARRxZ).
